Harmoni Kerukunan Antarumat Beragama: Seruan Bupati Nias Utara pada ONKP

DIDATA NIAS | Dalam pidato pembukaan Konferensi Pendeta Organisasi Nadhlatul Ulama dan Kristen Protestan (ONKP) dan HUT ONKP Ke-72 tahun 2024 yang berlangsung di gereja ONKP Jemaat Orahua Sibohou Resort Tuhemberua, Bupati Nias Utara Amizaro Waruwu menyerukan peran aktif ONKP dalam menjaga kerukunan dan mempromosikan inklusivitas antarumat beragama. 

Konferensi tersebut diadakan sepanjang 4 hari, berlangsung dari 16 hingga 19 April 2024. Ia percaya bahwa sinode gereja ONKP, yang merupakan bagian dari Kepulauan Nias, harus memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong sikap inklusif dan moderat dalam praktik beragama. Sejalan dengan itu, Bupati berharap hasil dari konferensi ini dapat menginformasikan kebijakan penting yang mendukung pemerintah dalam memastikan keserasian antarumat beragama di Indonesia. 

"Diharapkan konferensi ini memperkuat peran ONKP dalam menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis antarumat beragama di Indonesia," tutur Amizaro Waruwu, Selasa (16/4/2024). 

Acara ini dihadiri oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk Sekum PGI, anggota DPRD Provinsi Sumatra Utara Megawati Zebua, Sekum Sinode BNKP, Asisten Sekda, Wakil Bupati Nias Utara, kepala OPD Linkup Pemkab Nias Utara, Kemenag, Camat Tuhemberua, 180 Pendeta ONKP yang mengikuti konferensi, Kapolsek Tuhemberua, Kapolsek Lotu, personel TNI POLRI, warga jemaat ONKP, dan berbagai tamu undangan lainnya.

Harmony of Inter-Religious Harmony: Call from the Regent of North Nias to ONKP

In his opening speech at the Conference of Pastors of the Nadhlatul Ulama and Protestant Christian Organization (ONKP) and the 72nd Anniversary of ONKP in 2024 which took place at the ONKP church at the Orahua Sibohou Resort Tuhemberua Congregation, North Nias Regent Amizaro Waruwu called for ONKP's active role in maintaining harmony and promoting inclusivity between religious believers. .

The conference was held over 4 days, taking place from 16 to 19 April 2024. He believes that the ONKP church synod, which is part of the Nias Islands, must have an important role in encouraging inclusive and moderate attitudes in religious practices. In line with that, the Regent hopes that the results of this conference can inform important policies that support the government in ensuring harmony between religious communities in Indonesia.

"It is hoped that this conference will strengthen ONKP's role in creating harmonious relations between religious communities in Indonesia," said Amizaro Waruwu, Tuesday (16/4/2024).

This event was attended by various parties, including the General Secretary of PGI, member of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province Megawati Zebua, General Secretary of the BNKP Synod, Assistant Regional Secretary, Deputy Regent of North Nias, head of the North Nias Regency Government OPD Linkup, Ministry of Religion, Head of Tuhemberua District, 180 ONKP Pastors who took part in the conference, Tuhemberua Police Chief, Lotu Police Chief, TNI POLRI personnel, members of the ONKP congregation, and various other invited guests.
