Rekonstruksi Kasus Penganiayaan Fatal oleh Kepala Sekolah di Nias Selatan

DIDATA NIAS | Unit Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Nias Selatan telah melakukan rekonstruksi terkait kasus dugaan penganiayaan oleh individu berinisial SZ, selaku Kepala Sekolah SMK 1 Siduaori, terhadap siswanya YN, berusia 17 tahun, yang berakhir fatal dengan meninggalnya YN di RS M. Thomsen Nias. Proses rekonstruksi ini berlangsung pada Senin, tanggal 22 April 2024, di sekolah SMK 1 Siduaori, yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Siduaori, Kabupaten Nias Selatan.

Kepala Kepolisian Nias Selatan, AKBP Boney Wahyu Wicaksono, melalui Kepala Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Kasat Reskrim), AKP Freddy Siagian, dalam pernyataan resminya pada hari Selasa, 23 April 2024, menegaskan bahwa rekonstruksi dilakukan di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) yang asli untuk meningkatkan akurasi proses tersebut.

Dalam reenactment itu, dikemukakan oleh AKP Freddy, terduga pelaku SZ menunjukkan tindakan pemukulan kepada delapan siswa lainnya di depan ruang kelas. Acara ini bukan hanya dihadiri oleh terduga pelaku, tetapi juga dibantu oleh saksi dan pengganti korban YN yang diperankan oleh personel Polres Nias Selatan, serta kehadiran juga dari Kejaksaan.

Rekonstruksi ini, yang menampilkan 17 adegan berbeda dan berlangsung selama 90 menit, bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran rinci tentang bagaimana pelanggaran hukum ini terjadi dengan memamerkan tindakan pelaku kepada korban. Selain itu, rekonstruksi juga membantu dalam memvalidasi konsistensi keterangan saksi dan orang yang dicurigai sebagai pelaku, demikian penjelasan dari AKP Freddy.

Dijelaskan dari rekonstruksi itu, terduga pelaku SZ tampak menyerang area kening korban YN lebih dari tiga kali dengan sisi luar tangan yang terkepal. Parentela korban juga hadir dalam rekonstruksi ini dan proses tersebut didukung oleh keamanan ekstra dari personel Polres Nias Selatan.

Adapun dalam penanganan kasus ini, Polres Nias Selatan telah melakukan langkah-langkah penyelidikan yang komprehensif, termasuk prosedur autopsi pada jenazah korban oleh tim forensik dari RS Bhayangkara Medan dan pemeriksaan bukti fisik di Laboratorium Forensik Pusat Polri Medan.

Sebelumnya, Yaredi Ndruru (17), siswa dari SMK Negeri 1 Sidua'ori, Nias Selatan, yang berasal dari Desa Sifitubanua, Kecamatan Somambawa, Kabupaten Nias Selatan, dikabarkan telah meninggal dunia setelah dirawat beberapa hari di RS M.Thomsen Nias, Gunungsitoli, pada hari Senin malam, 15 April 2023, pada pukul 19.40 WIB. Hal ini dikonfirmasi oleh salah satu anggota keluarga korban, Ama Melsi Laia, melalui panggilan telepon pada wartawan, Senin (15/4/2024) malam. "Saya membenarkan bahwa dia telah meninggal setelah beberapa hari berjuang melawan luka fisiknya di ruang ICU sejak hari Sabtu (13/4/2023)," kata Ama Melsi Laia.

Reconstruction of a Case of Fatal Abuse by a School Principal in South Nias

The South Nias Resort Police Unit (Polres) has carried out reconstruction regarding the alleged abuse case by an individual with the initials SZ, as the Principal of SMK 1 Siduaori, against his student YN, aged 17 years, which ended fatally with YN's death at M. Thomsen Nias Hospital. This reconstruction process took place on Monday, April 22 2024, at the Siduaori 1 Vocational School, which is located in Siduaori District, South Nias Regency.

South Nias Police Chief, AKBP Boney Wahyu Wicaksono, through the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), AKP Freddy Siagian, in his official statement on Tuesday, April 23 2024, emphasized that reconstruction was carried out at the original crime scene (TKP) to improve accuracy of the process.

In the reenactment, stated by AKP Freddy, the alleged perpetrator SZ demonstrated the action of beating eight other students in front of the classroom. This event was not only attended by the alleged perpetrator, but also assisted by witnesses and substitutes for the victim YN, played by South Nias Police personnel, as well as the presence of the Prosecutor's Office.

This reconstruction, which shows 17 different scenes and lasts 90 minutes, aims to provide a detailed picture of how this law violation occurred by showcasing the perpetrator's actions towards the victim. Apart from that, reconstruction also helps in validating the consistency of the statements of witnesses and people suspected of being the perpetrators, explained AKP Freddy.

It was explained from the reconstruction that the alleged perpetrator SZ appeared to have attacked victim YN's forehead area more than three times with the outside of his clenched hand. The victim's parents were also present at this reconstruction and the process was supported by extra security from South Nias Police personnel.

As for handling this case, the South Nias Police have carried out comprehensive investigative steps, including autopsy procedures on the victim's body by a forensic team from Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan and examination of physical evidence at the Medan Police Central Forensic Laboratory.

Previously, Yaredi Ndruru (17), a student from SMK Negeri 1 Sidua'ori, South Nias, who came from Sifitubanua Village, Somambawa District, South Nias Regency, was reported to have died after being treated for several days at M.Thomsen Nias Hospital, Gunungsitoli, on Monday evening, April 15 2023, at 19.40 WIB. This was confirmed by one of the victim's family members, Ama Melsi Laia, via telephone call to journalists, Monday (15/4/2024) evening. "I confirmed that he had died after several days of battling his physical injuries in the ICU since Saturday (13/4/2023)," said Ama Melsi Laia.
