Bupati Nias Terima Kunjungan Dirjen Bimas Katolik

DIDATA NIAS | Bertempat di Pendopo Kabupaten Nias, Yaatulo Gulo, S.E., S.H., M.Si, selaku Bupati Nias, menerima kunjungan kerja dari Direktur Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Katolik Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia, Drs. Suparman, S.E., M.Si, beserta delegasinya. Kunjungan ini merupakan bagian dari persiapan untuk hibah tanah dari Kabupaten Nias yang akan digunakan untuk pengembangan pendidikan Katolik, meliputi Sekolah Menengah Agama Katolik (SMAK) Negeri dan Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Negeri.

Saat ini, Pemerintah Kabupaten Nias masih dalam proses penentuan lokasi lahan yang akan digunakan untuk hibah dan fokus utama lokasi tetap berada di Kecamatan Gido. Bupati Gulo, dalam komentarnya, mengapresiasi inisiatif Dirjen Bimas Katolik dan mengungkapkan aspirasi Kabupaten Nias untuk memiliki institusi pendidikan tinggi tersendiri. Meskipun anggaran masih terbatas, Bupati Nias berkomitmen untuk mendukung proyek pendidikan ini.

Dalam balasan, Dirjen Bimas Katolik Kemenag RI, Drs. Suparman, memaparkan rencana pembangunan ini dengan karakteristik keagamaan Katolik yang kuat. Suparman menaruh harapan besar agar lahan hibah dapat segera ditentukan. Menurutnya, dengan pembangunan institusi pendidikan yang kuat bernuansa Katolik, Kabupaten Nias dapat mencetak sumber daya manusia dengan potensi yang luas.

Untuk merancang penggunaan lahan secara efektif, delegasi Dirjen Bimas Katolik Kemenag RI dan pemerintah Kabupaten Nias melakukan peninjauan langsung ke lokasi yang akan digunakan untuk pembangunan institusi pendidikan Katolik tersebut.

The Regent of Nias Receives a Visit from the Director General of Catholic Community Guidance

Located at the Nias Regency Hall, Yaatulo Gulo, S.E., S.H., M.Si, as Regent of Nias, received a working visit from the Director General of Catholic Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Drs. Suparman, S.E., M.Si, and his delegation. This visit is part of preparations for a land grant from Nias Regency which will be used for the development of Catholic education, including the State Catholic Religious High School (SMAK) and the State Pastoral College.

Currently, the Nias Regency Government is still in the process of determining the location of the land that will be used for the grant and the main focus of the location remains in Gido District. Regent Gulo, in his comments, appreciated the initiative of the Director General of Catholic Community Guidance and expressed Nias Regency's aspirations to have its own higher education institution. Even though the budget is still limited, the Regent of Nias is committed to supporting this education project.

In his reply, the Director General of Catholic Guidance at the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Drs. Suparman, explained this development plan with strong Catholic religious characteristics. Suparman has high hopes that the land grant can be determined soon. According to him, by building strong educational institutions with a Catholic nuance, Nias Regency can produce human resources with broad potential.

To design effective land use, a delegation from the Director General of Catholic Guidance at the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and the Nias Regency government conducted a direct inspection of the location that would be used for the construction of the Catholic educational institution.
