Pelajar SMK Gunungsitoli Gantung Diri: Catatan Tragis Kesehatan Mental Remaja

DIDATA NIAS | Seorang siswa di sebuah sekolah kejuruan ditemukan meninggal dunia akibat bunuh diri di kediamannya yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Idanoi, Kota Gunungsitoli. Kepala Kepolisian Sektor (Kapolsek) Gido, AKP Firdaus Panjaitan, mengkonfirmasi peristiwa tersebut dan menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya menerima laporan masyarakat, kemudian segera bergerak menuju lokasi kejadian bersama sejumlah anggota personil.

Saat tiba di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), personil Polsek Gido mendapatkan informasi bahwa korban, seorang pelajar dengan inisial GPG yang berusia 17 tahun, merupakan siswa di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Gunungsitoli. "Staff kami menemukan korban dalam keadaan tak bernyawa, dengan posisi tubuh tergantung menggunakan tali di lehernya," ungkap AKP Firdaus Panjaitan pada hari Rabu, 1 Mei 2024.

Ina Berkat Gea, ibu kandung korban, mengisahkan kepada Kapolsek Gido bahwa korban mengungkapkan ada masalah di sekolah pada Senin, 29 April 2024 sekitar pukul 19.00 WIB. Namun, ketika Ina mencoba mendalami masalah tersebut, GPG enggan berbicara lebih lanjut. "Saat aku mencoba membangunkan dia dan mengetuk pintu kamar, tidak ada respon. Jadi aku mengintip melalui ventilasi pintu dan pada saat itu aku melihat dia tergantung dengan tali di lehernya," tutur Ina Berkat dengan suara pilu.

Melalui pemeriksaan awal oleh Dr. Demuli Zebua, dokter Puskesmas Gunungsitoli Idanoi yang dilakukan di lokasi kejadian, tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan pada tubuh korban. Dengan hasil tersebut, Polsek Gido akhirnya menyerahkan tubuh korban kepada keluarganya untuk disemayamkan. "Keluarga korban tidak menginginkan otopsi dan telah menerima kepergian korban," tambah Kapolsek AKP Firdaus Panjaitan.

Gunungsitoli Vocational School Student Hangs Himself: Tragic Account of Teenage Mental Health

A student at a vocational school was found dead due to suicide at his residence located in Gunungsitoli Idanoi District, Gunungsitoli City. Gido Sector Police Chief (Kapolsek), AKP Firdaus Panjaitan, confirmed the incident and explained that his party received the public's report, then immediately moved to the location of the incident with a number of personnel.

When they arrived at the crime scene (TKP), Gido Police personnel received information that the victim, a 17 year old student with the initials GPG, was a student at a Vocational High School (SMK) in Gunungsitoli City. "Our staff found the victim lifeless, with his body hanging using a rope around his neck," said AKP Firdaus Panjaitan on Wednesday, May 1 2024.

Ina Berkat Gea, the victim's biological mother, told the Gido Police Chief that the victim revealed there was a problem at school on Monday, April 29 2024 at around 19.00 WIB. However, when Ina tried to explore the problem, GPG was reluctant to talk further. "When I tried to wake him and knocked on the bedroom door, there was no response. So I peeked through the door ventilation and at that time I saw him hanging with a rope around his neck," said Ina Berkat in a sad voice.

Through an initial examination by Dr. Demuli Zebua, a doctor at the Gunungsitoli Idanoi Community Health Center, found no signs of violence on the victim's body. With these results, the Gido Police finally handed over the victim's body to his family for burial. "The victim's family does not want an autopsy and has accepted the victim's departure," added Police Chief AKP Firdaus Panjaitan.
