Ekstraordinary Turnamen Badminton Paskah di GBI KA Nias

DATA NIAS | GBI Keluarga Allah (KA) Nias meriahkan perayaan Paskah pada tahun ini dengan mengadakan turnamen badminton melibatkan seluruh jemaat. Pertandingan seru ini digelar pada Jumat (29/3/2024) dan mampu meningkatkan suasana kegembiraan atas perayaan Paskah sekaligus menyalurkan semangat olahraga di kalangan jemaat.

Atmosfer pertandingan begitu memanas ketika kubu berlawanan maju mundur dalam penukaran pukulan shuttlecock. Kecemasan yang tercipta seketika sirna saat shuttlecock akhirnya jatuh di lapangan lawan seiring dengan riuh suara sorakan yang meluap dari penonton.

Turnamen badminton ini berlokasi di Hall Dinas Kesehatan kota Gunungsitoli, Jalan Kartini. Ini melibatkan 10 grup Putra dan 9 grup Putri dengan player bervariasi usia, menunjukkan bahwa olahraga dapat dinikmati oleh semua kalangan tanpa pandang usia.

Pastor Lucky Deri Putra Harefa, selaku Gembala GBI KA Nias, mengungkapkan alasan turnamen badminton ini dipilih sebagai bagian dari rangkaian peringatan Paskah tahun ini. Menurutnya, olahraga merupakan salah satu cara yang baik untuk menyalurkan semangat beribadah dengan tubuh yang sehat.

"Pilihan pertandingan badminton di tahun ini berlandaskan observasi kami terhadap antusiasme jemaat dalam berolahraga. Kami percaya bahwa tubuh yang sehat akan memotivasi semangat beribadah yang semakin berkobar," ungkapnya.

Selain turnamen badminton, GBI KA Nias juga memiliki rundown perayaan Paskah lainnya, termasuk Kebaktian Paskah pada tanggal 31 Maret 2024 pukul 09.00 WIB, diakhiri dengan jamuan bersama, dan Kebaktian Paskah Youth and Teens pada tanggal 6 April 2024 pukul 18.00 WIB.

Dengan perayaan dan kegiatan seru ini, GBI KA Nias berkomitmen untuk selalu menciptakan suasana perayaan Paskah yang berarti sekaligus menyenangkan bagi jemaat - melalui olahraga, kebaktian, dan persaudaraan yang kokoh.

Extraordinary Easter Badminton Tournament at GBI KA Nias

GBI Family of Allah (KA) Nias enlivened Easter celebrations this year by holding a badminton tournament involving the entire congregation. This exciting match was held on Friday (29/3/2024) and was able to increase the atmosphere of joy over the Easter celebration as well as channeling the spirit of sport among the congregation.

The atmosphere in the match was very heated when the opposing sides went back and forth while exchanging shuttlecock blows. The anxiety that was created instantly disappeared when the shuttlecock finally fell on the opponent's court as loud cheers erupted from the audience.

This badminton tournament is located at the Gunungsitoli City Health Service Hall, Jalan Kartini. This involves 10 men's groups and 9 women's groups with players of varying ages, showing that sport can be enjoyed by all groups regardless of age.

Pastor Lucky Deri Putra Harefa, as Pastor of GBI KA Nias, revealed the reason why this badminton tournament was chosen as part of this year's series of Easter commemorations. According to him, exercise is a good way to channel the spirit of worship with a healthy body.

"The choice of badminton competition this year was based on our observations of the congregation's enthusiasm for sports. We believe that a healthy body will motivate an even stronger spirit of worship," he said.

Apart from the badminton tournament, GBI KA Nias also has a rundown of other Easter celebrations, including the Easter Service on March 31 2024 at 09.00 WIB, ending with a communal meal, and the Youth and Teens Easter Service on April 6 2024 at 18.00 WIB.
