Peran Penting Musyawarah Nasional PMNBI untuk Masyarakat Nias Barat di Perantauan
DATA NIAS | Sabahati Gulo, S.Sos., MM mewakili Bupati Kabupaten Nias Barat pada Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) ke-2 Persatuan Masyarakat Nias Barat Indonesia (PMNBI) yang berlangsung di Gedung Menara Hijau, Jakarta Selatan. Kegiatan ini dibuka dengan seminar nasional. Beberapa narasumber mengisi acara ini, diantaranya Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Nias Barat, April Imelda Hia, S.Pd., M.Si., dan Kepala Bappelitbangda Kabupaten Nias Barat, Eta Fajar Wiriatmo Daely, SP., MM.
PMNBI Sebagai Wadah Persatuan Masyarakat Nias Barat
Dalam sambutannya, Sabahati Gulo menegaskan bahwa PMNBI berperan penting dalam persatuan masyarakat Nias Barat di perantauan. Tujuan ini termasuk menjadi mitra pemerintah daerah dalam berpikir dan berjuang untuk kepentingan dan pembangunan Nias Barat. "Harapannya, PMNBI bisa menjadi pembawa damai dan meleburkan diri dalam masyarakat, berkolaborasi dan bersinergis dengan pemerintah daerah untuk mendorong pembangunan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Nias Barat," kata Sabahati Gulo.
Ia memberikan apresiasi kepada masyarakat Nias Barat yang tergabung dalam PMNBI atas dukungan dan kontribusi pemikiran sejak awal proses pembentukan daerah otonom baru di Kepulauan Nias, termasuk Nias Barat. "Kami memiliki kewajiban untuk menghormati perjuangan dan kontribusi pemikiran yang telah diberikan dengan melanjutkan cita-cita pembentukan Kabupaten Nias Barat," ujar Sabahati Gulo.
Capaian Pembangunan Kabupaten Nias Barat
Dia lantas membeberkan banyaknya pembangunan dan prestasi yang telah diraih oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Nias Barat sejak awal pemerintahan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Nias Barat Khenoki Waruwu-Dr. Era Era Hia, MM., M.Si. "Berbagai prestasi dan hasil pembangunan yang telah diraih merupakan bukti nyata kesungguhan pemerintah daerah dalam menjalankan pemerintahan dan pembangunan di Kabupaten Nias Barat," katanya.
Sabahati Gulo berharap Munas ke-2 PMNBI dan seminar yang terlaksana dengan baik ini bisa menciptakan kerjasama yang sinergis untuk mendukung pembangunan Kabupaten Nias Barat. "Semoga pengurus PMNBI yang terpilih bisa berkolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah dalam memajukan Nias Barat," tutupnya.

The Important Role of the PMNBI National Conference for the Overseas Community of West Nias
Sabahati Gulo, S.Sos., MM represented the Regent of West Nias Regency at the 2nd National Conference (Munas) of the West Nias Indonesian Community Association (PMNBI) which took place at the Green Tower Building, South Jakarta. This activity was opened with a national seminar. Several resource persons attended this event, including the Head of the West Nias Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department, April Imelda Hia, S.Pd., M.Si., and the Head of West Nias Regency Bappelitbangda, Eta Fajar Wiriatmo Daely, SP., MM .
PMNBI as a forum for West Nias Community Unity
In his speech, Sabahati Gulo emphasized that PMNBI plays an important role in the unity of the overseas West Nias community. This goal includes becoming a partner with the regional government in thinking and fighting for the interests and development of West Nias. "The hope is that PMNBI can become a peacemaker and immerse himself in society, collaborating and synergizing with the regional government to encourage development and improve the welfare of the people of West Nias," said Sabahati Gulo.
He expressed his appreciation to the people of West Nias who are members of PMNBI for their support and contribution of thought since the beginning of the process of establishing a new autonomous region on the Nias Islands, including West Nias. "We have an obligation to respect the struggle and contribution of thought that has been given by continuing the ideals of establishing West Nias Regency," said Sabahati Gulo.
West Nias Regency Development Achievements
He then explained the many developments and achievements that had been achieved by the West Nias Regency government since the beginning of the administration of the Regent and Deputy Regent of West Nias Khenoki Waruwu-Dr. Era Era Hia, MM., M.Si. "The various achievements and development results that have been achieved are clear evidence of the regional government's seriousness in carrying out governance and development in West Nias Regency," he said.
Sabahati Gulo hopes that the PMNBI 2nd National Conference and this well-conducted seminar can create synergistic cooperation to support the development of West Nias Regency. "Hopefully the selected PMNBI management can collaborate with the regional government in advancing West Nias," he concluded.
