Kasatlantas Polres Nias Promosi Operasi Keselamatan Toba 2024 di SMK Negeri 1 Dharma Caraka

DATA NIAS | Polres Nias terus berupaya keras dalam menurunkan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah hukumnya, hal ini dinyatakan langsung oleh AKP Sonahami Lase, selaku Kasatlantas Polres Nias. Dia menuturkan beragam strategi yang telah diterapkan, termasuk melakukan dialog interaktif di RRI Gunungsitoli, mengunjungi sekolah-sekolah, memberikan himbauan di tempat-tempat peribadatan, serta melakukan penindakan langsung di lokasi.

Baru-baru ini, mereka melakukan sosialisasi mengenai Operasi Keselamatan Toba 2024 di SMK Negeri 1 Dharma Caraka, Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Selatan. Kasatlantas Polres Nias, AKP Sonahami Lase, berperan sebagai pembina upacara. "Melihat dari angka kecelakaan dari bulan Januari hingga Maret, beberapa upaya sudah kami lakukan seperti mendatangi sekolah-sekolah dan tempat-tempat ibadah seperti gereja dan masjid; metode ini cukup efektif karena mampu menyasar langsung," jelasnya pada Senin (18/3/2024).

Di SMK Negeri 1 Dharma Caraka, AKP Sonahami Lase mencetuskan himbauan penting kepada siswa dan guru untuk senantiasa mematuhi hukum lalu lintas dengan benar. Dia juga mendorong agar siswa dan guru menggunakan media sosial dan media elektronik dengan bijaksana. Lebih jauh, siswa telah diberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya narkoba.

Sehari sebelumnya, Kapolsek Tuhemberua AKP Ariyunus Zai juga mengampanyekan tentang Operasi Keselamatan Toba 2024 ketika bertindak sebagai pembina upacara di SMA Negeri 1 Tuhemberua.
